The Department of Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi has officially set the new eligibility criteria for the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana 2026. If you want to get ₹2500 per month financial help, you must fulfill all these conditions.

Please read all the eligibility conditions properly before you apply so your application doesn't get rejected.

Main Eligibility Conditions (पात्रता की शर्तें)

1. Only for Women: This scheme is strictly designed to empower the women of Delhi. Men are not eligible to apply for this scheme.

2. Age Limit (21+ Years): The applicant woman must be at least 21 years old. If you are under 21 years, you cannot fill out the form.

3. Must be a Delhi Resident: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Delhi. Women living in other states cannot apply.

4. 10-Year Residency Rule: This is the most important new rule! The woman must have proof that she has lived in Delhi for at least 10 years. (You can prove this using old Voter IDs, Ration Cards, or old Electricity bills).

5. Economically Weaker Section: This scheme is designed for poor and low-income families. You must have a BPL card, yellow ration card, or an income certificate proving your family's annual income is low (Rs. 2.50-3 lakh).

6. Aadhaar and Bank Account: The applicant must have an Aadhaar card, and it must be linked to a single, active bank account to receive the direct ₹2500 monthly payment.

Note: Even if you met the rules for the old Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana, you must ensure you can provide the 10-Year Residential Proof required for the new Delhi Lakshmi Yojana.
